What is TLX?
Prefabs TLX, short for "Talks", is a fully VR-centric Developer Conference aimed at sharing the knowledge between VRChat Creators
This website serves as an archive of previous events and talks, as well as a place to find up to date information on the upcoming and ongoing events.
Origin Story
The original idea of a VRC-centric developer event was tossed around in different communities for a while. At one point it was even theorized to be a part of the weekly VRChat Community Meetup, but it never came to be.
But people still wanted to have an outlet to share their knowledge and learn from others. So in 2020, me, orels1, pitched the idea to the admin team of the VRCPrefabs community and got a green light for hosting an event under the Prefabs banner.
That was a success. Speakers signed up, there was plenty of interest from the creators community, and soon after the first event in Winter of 2020 - the second Spring 2021 event was held.
To me, the 2021 even was the first "proper" event as well. The world was actually finished, the tech was polished up and ready, people were prepared. Suffice it to say - it was also a great success and set the bar for the VRChat Developer Conferences to come.
